Wildlife Art and the landscape they inhabit is my main subject, using the counties of Lincolnshire and Norfolk as my main source of inspiration. Printmaking tends to be more landscape based but I will be introducing more wildlife subjects in 2026. The Lincolnshire Wash is a rich source of subject matter, especially when birds overwinter there with large flocks of Pink-footed and Brent geese a common sight. Ducks move in large and small parties, especially at sunrise and sunset. Swirling flocks of waders make a mesmerising sight against the large skies and the sounds of Curlew, Redshank and Oystercatcher to name a few make it a magical place. Birds of prey can be seen, especially on the sea bank and marshes including Buzzard, Sparrow-hawk (who often  lands  on the hedge next to my kitchen widow), Marsh Harrier, Hen Harrier and Kite with Barn, Tawny and Short Eared Owls making regular appearances.

Deer, once rarely seen around the wash area are now common. Roe, Fallow and muntjac are abundant but Sika, Red and Water deer are seen occasionally.
